I’m a lead Paintvine artist in the Greater Manawatu area. Teaching and doing art is a personal favourite of mine, I enjoy both acrylic and watercolours, especially the tactile experience of layering colours and textures.
My professional background is in teaching a variety of age groups, and in my training the importance of focussing on the process and not worrying about the final product was emphasized. Doing this encourages connections being formed with those around you and it is a great stress relief.
I enjoy helping others turn a blank canvas from an intimidating void into their own work of art. Time disappears with a paintbrush in one hand and a glass of wine in the other, and I love to share in that energy, excitement and enthusiasm that a group of artists bring to their total art experience!
