We will make a rain/weather call 24 hours before the event is due to start. If we decide to move the event, we'll arrange for it to take place at one of our partner venues. If we're unable to accomodate this Paintvine credit will be issued to use at another Paintvine event over the next 12 months.
Yes, you can BYO your own alcohol. The parks we paint in have no liquor licensing restrictions during the times we host the sessions.
Directions on where to meet for painting will be provided inside the event itself, if you have any confusion just ask our staff.
Bring a mat or blanket for you to sit on, don't worry you wont need to put your canvas on this so you wont get any paint on it. We also recommend you bring something warm incase the wind picks up. You should also bring some snacks and a few drinks with you if you'd like to find some creative courage while you paint.
The events start at 2pm and run through until 4pm.
Learn how to paint in some of New Zealand's most beautiful green spaces and parks. We provide everything, so you can take on the basic techniques of painting with acrylics on canvas. One of our expert Paintvine artists leads each session with step-by-step instruction and plenty of room for your own personalised touches.
Painting in the park is the perfect blend of creativity and conversation. We provide all the gear, and the clean up - you BYO your own wine or beer and create a painting in the sun — you’ll go home with more than just a buzz.
In this sunny 2 hour painting session, you’ll take on the techniques of acrylic’s lead by our expert Paintvine artists. Thankfully you’re welcome to bring a few drinks and snacks down to the park with you to help cool you down and give you some creative inspiration as all of the beautiful green spaces we paint in allow BYO (Bring your own) alcohol. Come and paint in the sun and sip a few vinos with us this summer.
