This piece uses simple painting techniques to create a very impressive artwork!

Bob Ross was the creator and host of The Joy of Painting, an instructional television program that aired from 1983 to 1994. He is famous because the painter attracted his fan base with his calming personality and encouraging words during his half-hour-long episodes. His favorite phrases like “happy little trees” and “you can do it” were frequently heard during his shows.

This painting has lots of happy little trees, and uses lots of blending to create shadows.
