This is a painting of Mt Taranaki looking across farmland, inspired by the Japanese artist Hokusai and his ‘36 views of Mt Fuji’ series. Uses flat colour with blocks of highlights, to get the look of printmaking. You have the freedom to use more expressive brush marks if you wish.
