This is a depiction of the bay to Rangitoto island as seen on a still morning at daybreak. The small details of shadows on the rocks are what make this painting look so gorgeous! The painting uses careful blending of the sky, mixing red, yellow and blue so we all paint together to avoid green!
Perhaps one of the more interesting features of Rangitoto is it's near perfect symmetry.
