Looking through sand dunes towards the beach - what a real Kiwi scene! This painting of sand dunes and Toi Toi is a lovely loose watercolour. Simple but effective! We use lots of colour mixing to tone down the brightly coloured pigments, and use lots of layering for the sand dunes to mimic the sun glinting off the sand.
