Frequently-asked questions
What do I need to bring?
Absolutely nothing but a creative attitude! We provide everything you need for the class. Including aprons to keep your clothes safe, however we do recommend that you wear casual, comfortable clothing.
Do I need to know how to cook?
Zero prior knowledge is required, everybody from all backgrounds will have fun at this creative cooking class.
What cities is this available in?
Currently this is only available in Auckland, but let us know if you'd be keen to do this in your region!
How long is the event?
The event will run for 2 hours. During this time you will work as a team to create an artistic dish for our head Chef to judge. It will be 2 hours of fun, socialising, cooking and eating!
How many people are at the class?
Each session will be a maximum of 30 people. Each team will have 4 people, so tickets will be sold in pairs or sets of 4. So grab your squad and let's get cooking at this completely unique night out!
Do I get the eat the meal afterwards?
Yes! The best part about this event is you get to eat what you make, and socialise with the group at the end of the evening.
Can I pick my dietary requirements?
Yes you can! Your team will be choosing fresh ingredients from the Paint on a Plate pantry. Please let us know of any special dietary requirements at least one week prior to your event, to ensure we have alternatives available for you.
Is BYO available?
No, BYO is not available. The venue is fully licensed and has a bar available onsite that offers a cash only tab or individual tabs during your event.
